Every single time I ride I ALWAYS carry enough tools and equipment to allow me to do two tire changes. The roads can be unpredictable, and if I know anything about Murphy’s law, the second I remove my saddle bag and go for a ride, that’s the day that I will get two flat tires!
So here’s what you’re going to find in my saddle bag always:
- 2 spare tubes
- 2 tire levers
- multi-tool allen keys
- air pump (CO2 inflators during a race)
And of course, cell phone, and cash.
